Like a small escape from the busy street of Arago lies this unpretentious restaurant Madrid-Barcelona. The name refers to the train to Madrid that used to pass by outside the restaurants window. Nowdays only cars passes by. A place to have a rest after a long days shopping. Madrid-Barcelona serves simple dishes, fast food orientated dishes like fried vegetables, “esqueixada” (raw cod) with escalivada (vegetables), squid with mushrooms or the duck served with figs, are good examples.
